Having fostered for All Border Collie Rescue (ABCR) since 2010, with over 250 rescued foster dogs finding their beginning at BlissWood Bed and Breakfast Ranch, I was moved to create Fosters of BlissWood, a 501(c)3 non-profit, so that the ranch can financially continue to be the first home for many dogs who are rescued through All Border Collie Rescue. ABCR financially provides for the medical needs of the foster dogs, bit there are many other needs the dogs have (mostly food), that I personally furnish. I continue to do my foster work through ABCR, as I believe in their practices and have greatly enjoyed the many friendships I have made through that organization. It is well-run and superb at matching the right foster dogs with their Forever Family.

I have been rescuing and fostering Border Collies and other dogs for many years. I started volunteering with All Border Collie Rescue in 2010. With the help of donors and supporters, the creation of the Fosters of BlissWood non-profit organization will allow me to continue my efforts with ABCR for many years to come!
