Bebe

BBebe is a 4.6 year old female, spayed, black and white smooth coat, 38 lbs, active companion, good with other dogs and older children, not good with cats. Bebe (pronounced “Beebee”) came from a shelter in Navasota TX with 7 puppies in 2013. Her front left leg was dislocated her elbow and never set back in place and had healed up before she was taken by our rescue, leaving her with a limp. After extensive testing with a veterinarian, it was determined that Bebe, amazingly, feels no pain in this leg, and the limp is just a result of the leg healing “out of place” with no reason to remove it. When Bebe walks, she limps and holds up the leg, but when she decides to flat out run, she moves like the wind with all four legs working together as normal and at a lightning speed! She is extremely sweet and loving. She is passive and submissive by nature She would make an excellent candidate for a therapy dog - she absolutely adores people and being with people. Don’t let her special leg dissuade you, as an active companion, Bebe needs daily exercise!

Adoption
Bebe is spayed, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, and heart worm negative! If you are interested in making Bebe a part of your family, please start the process by visiting the homepage to fill out and submit an adoption application on ABCR's website. We receive many applications every week and try our best to respond to each as soon as possible. After we review your application, we will call you to talk about it, clarify/answer any questions you may have, and then schedule a required home visit. After that you will be approved to adopt from our rescue. See Bebe's full biography on ABCR's website.

Caldwell

Caldwell is a 1 year 1 month old, male, born 7/7/14, tri-color (tan, black & white) smooth coat BC mix, 31 lbs, active companion. Caldwell's mom, Copa, is a red and white tri-color smooth coated BC who ABCR also has in rescue and was formerly fostered at BlissWood. His father must have been some sort of cute hound dog. He loves to wrestle with other dogs and chase tennis balls. He is GREAT at catching tennis balls in his mouth!!! He even jumps and twists in the air to catch the worst ball throws! And, he brings the balls back for us to throw again. He keeps getting better and better! Caldwell is a friendly and outgoing guy who gets along with other dogs. Kiah

Kiah is a 10.5-11.5 year old female. She is a tall and lanky 45 lbs, Brindle Pointed, sable and white merle (close to blue/slate merle). Kiah has a medium rough coat, is spayed, and even at her age, is an active companion. Kiah may technically a "senior" but we don't see many dogs run farther or faster than her, regardless of age! She loves to herd, enjoys the company of other dogs who don't crowd her personal space, and will gladly curl up with you at the end of the day on the sofa or in bed. She has an independent streak and loves watching the horses and cattle, but also very much enjoys spending quality time with he people. Kiah is not overly fond of puppies and will let them know it. View Kiah's full biography on ABCR's website.

Lobo

Lobo is a 5.6 year old male. He has a black and white rough coat, is 42 lbs, and is an active companion. Lobo is, as far as we can tel, a pure-bred, handsome boy, with a little early graying around his face! His teeth are worn down in the front, but most likely, because he was left on a chain, and had to find a way to entertain himself. He is a typical Border Collie - very social, learns new things quickly, wants to please his foster at all times, and loves to be active! He is so fun, sweet and good natured.

Lobo is easily trainable because he is very food driven. He would like to have an active family that keeps his body and mind busy. He crates/kennels well on command and settles inside quickly. An adult who likes to run would love Lobo as a running buddy, or he would need someone who just likes to exercise him or take him to the dog park. He’s great with all other dogs and people and would do well with school-aged children. He knows sit, down and stay and can jump a 4' fence with the greatest of ease.

Lobo is neutered, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, and heart worm negative! If you are interested in making making Lobo, please submit an adoption application on ABCR's website. We receive many applications every week and try our best to respond to each as soon as possible. After we review your application, we will call you to talk about it, clarify/answer any questions you may have, and then schedule a required home visit. Then you are approved to adopt from our rescue. Contact ABCR us about Lobo today. See his full profile on www.allbordercollierescue.com.

Molly - ADOPTION PENDING

Molly is a 11.6 year old female with a black and white semi-rough coat. She weighs 39 lbs and has companion level energy. Molly is best as an only pet. She was surrendered to All Border Collie Rescue after one of her family member’s job moved overseas. The entire family would be moving and they felt both the long trip and drastic change in environments would be difficult for her so they entrusted us with finding a loving new family with which to spend her golden years. She has only had one previous owner and was always an only pet. As such, Molly will need to remain an only pet because she lacks the necessary skills, usually learned as a puppy, to positively interact with other dogs and cats. Molly is very good with people though! She previously lived with children and does fine with them. She has soft fur, and loves to be petted. She likes to retrieve balls, and enjoys swimming in her foster mom's pond!

Medical:
Molly has a Grade 4 heart murmur and hip dysplasia. She is on a supplement for the hip dysplasia, medication for the heart murmur and should be kept on both inexpensive meds for the remainder of her life. Thankfully, her quality of life is very good and she takes her meds easily. She also recently had her teeth checked out.

Adoption:
Molly is spayed, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, and heart worm negative. An adoption donation is requested if you are interested in giving her a forever home. Please start the process by visiting ABCR's homepage to fill out and submit an adoption application. We receive many applications every week and try our best to respond to each as soon as possible. After we review your application, we will call you to talk about your application, clarify/answer any questions you may have, and then schedule a required home visit. After that you will be approved to adopt from our rescue. See Molly's full bio on ABCR's website and contact them Molly today!

Tippey

Tippey is a 19 month old male, weighs 42 lbs, and has a black and white smooth coat. He is definitely an active companion! Tippey neutered, up to date on all of his medical care, and is heart worm negative. He is a proud and lucky Parvo survivor, so he has the best immunity to it EVER! :) Tippey was born into a litter of eight very special BC puppies from Bay City, Texas on 12/27/13. Their mother passed away when they were two days old and ABCR volunteers Carol Davis (founder of Fosters of BlissWood) and ABCR volunteer Jenny Weinberg bottle fed and raised them from six days of age! Tippey has ball interest, likes to swim, and loves to wrestle and play with his foster brothers and sisters! He is a sweetheart and the last of his litter remaining to be adopted. Tippey would love an active family and another dog to play with. View Tippey's full biography on ABCR's website.
